Scientific Name: Atelerix albiventris
Description: Interesting pet can display very inquisitive behaviour and charaters, become very friendly with regular handling and treats.
Requirements: Large indoor rabbit cage or similar (approx 36" x 12" for one adult), with places to hide and exercise. Require a temperature range of 65 - 80F - Do Not Hibernate (Hibernation can be fatal), require an average of 12 hours of day light, can be litter trained, provide activities such as tunnels, exercise wheel etc.
Life Span: 3 - 6 Years
Sex: Males & Females
Diet: High protein Diet but Low in Fat, Hedgehog biscuit or dry cat biscuit, Crickets, Mealworms, Boiled / Scrambled Egg, Cooked Chicken/Mince/Lamb, Canned Cat Food (Meat Not Fish Based).
